Our story began in 1992, when two local craftsmen, Randy A. Herr and L. Scott Spayd, joined forces to create Red Rose Mirror & Glass. Starting out as a small partnership, they built the business on a foundation of quality craftsmanship and genuine community relationships. In those early days, Randy and Scott wore many hats as they personally handled everything from custom mirror designs to on-site glass installations, always greeting customers with a smile. From the very start, their warm, small-town approach earned the trust of neighbors across Lancaster County and planted the seeds of a family-owned legacy.

In our first few years, we became a trusted name in the area, proudly serving Lancaster County with top-notch craftsmanship and friendly service. This early success led us to officially incorporate as a domestic business corporation in Pennsylvania on April 28, 1995, marking an important milestone for our young company. Even as we took that formal step, we remained true to our small-town roots, continuing to treat customers like neighbors and deliver quality work on every job. Through every custom glass project, repair, and replacement, we nurtured relationships with our customers — proving that doing good work and treating people right never goes out of style.

Fast forward to 2024, and a proud new chapter in our story unfolded. After more than three decades at the helm, founder Randy Herr passed the torch to Matthew Daigle, a skilled professional who also owns Acadian Construction. Matthew brought with him a wealth of expertise in both glass and construction, opening the door for us to expand into commercial and even agricultural glass manufacturing and installation. Throughout this transition, Randy stayed on as a mentor to Matthew, sharing his specialized glass manufacturing techniques and hard-earned wisdom to ensure our legacy of quality continues to thrive.

Today, Red Rose Mirror & Glass remains a proud family-owned and operated business, guided by the same friendly values that defined us from the start. Matthew, who lives in Millersville, PA with his wife and son, carries on our tradition of family-oriented values and community involvement. Our core services have grown over time, but our dedication is unchanged – we still specialize in custom glass work, repairs, replacements, and installations for homes and businesses. As we look to the future, we're committed to preserving the neighborly trust and craftsmanship that have been at the heart of our company for over 30 years.
